This is one of my all time favourite fics! I have read it more often than I can admit to without seeming obsessive. I love it from beginning to end. The idea alone is perfect and the way it's written makes me love F/S even more than I already do and I just adore the language and the humour and oh everything about it! Brilliant fic!! Definitely one of the best around!

This was a gorgeous story and I didn't want it to end. I could mention some of the tiny details, like the peregrinating Took, the occasional voice of the Gaffer in Sam's head, the need for air ('just to clear my head')and Frodo being possibly drunk and definitely devious. I could just say that the entire concept, with merrymaking hobbits and Frodo and Sam both desperate is quite lovely and extremely erotic without being explicit. I could remark that I learnt a new word (empyreal). But mainly, I just want to thank Polecat for writing it.

I've certainly enjoyed reading this. What a fun story concept. Thanks! Somehow, I'm convinced that the music that the Hole Dwellers play while Frodo poledances is Track 4 (Marco Polo) on Loreena McKennitt's album The Book of Secrets.
