| Finely written and wonderfully described setting that brings readers right into the tale. Deft touch with the hobbits too and I loved the ominous undertone of what might be causing all the ill turns, even the wonderfully cozy setting of BagEnd. | Enjoyed this one on the Challenge site and so when I noticed it here, I read it again. I can't get enough of a good thing. I love the way you write the hobbits and the wonderful descriptions in this story. I almost had trouble breathing myself while Pippin was locked in that wardrobe and I laughed out loud as I could see poor Sam in those boots! I enjoyed this, yet again. Hope you are planning more stories in the very near future. | |
